Pumpkin Chocolate Chunk Cookies

That’s what these desserts are made of! My favorite fall flavor is pumpkin. From coffee, to soups and pasta, if it’s made with pumpkin I’ll try it. But, I especially LOVE pumpkin desserts!

Andrea Runnells may have the same fondness for pumpkin as I do. “I put pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg in anything and everything in the fall,” she says. “Fall, with all of the flavors and aromas that go with it, is my favorite season of the year!”

Sweet, delicate and super moist, Andrea’s Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes with Pumpkin Mousse Frosting have a perfectly subtle pumpkin flavor that is wonderfully offset by the light and airy icing. They are just delicious.

“I make these Pumpkin Chocolate Chunk Cookies every autumn,” shares Julie Knauf. “While my kids would prefer something from the candy jar, these remain a yummy cookie for the grown-ups.” I couldn’t wait to try Julie’s cookies as soon as they came out of the oven. They’ll be blown away by your baking skills when they bite into Lindsey Cook’s Pumpkin Maple Pull-Apart Bread with Whiskey Sauce. “A yummy bread with lots of warm, fall flavors,” explains Lindsey. “I took this to my office and it was devoured. You can omit the whiskey to make it a little more kid friendly if you are concerned about the alcohol.”

The fresh dough does take a little bit of time, but the end result is so worth it. This is delicious and will make your kitchen smell wonderful while baking! Pumpkin puree is in the dough, which gives great pumpkin flavor in every bite.

Who wants some holiday comfort food? Me! Me! And Marieann Johansen’s Pumpkin Spice Dump Cake fits the bill to a tee! “This is a tiny bit more work then the regular dump cake, but well worth the effort,” says Marieann. Sweet, nutty and amazingly moist, this recipe is ideal for your holiday table. It would be great at a bake sale or potluck too.
