I use lemon juice, honey and cayenne. Everyone in my family swears by it. Even the kids ,who don't like the taste, ask for it first if they start to get a sore throat or cough, because they know it helps so much!

I just made some of this and took my first dose, as I'm getting over a pretty nasty sinus infection and have now started up with the hacking. So far, it's working and the cayenne is actually very soothing to my sore and scratchy throat. I may have to make some more though, we'll see how it goes. Thanks for posting, Stormy!
