FOR THE SAUCE
1Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2for the dough, mix flour, sugar and salt in a bowl.
cut in the cubed butter until resembles small peas. add milk and fold mixture out onto counter or board. knead dough slightly not too much just enough to bring all ingredients together. split the dough into two equal parts.
3Roll on the the doughs out to about 1/4 to 1/2 in thickness. spread 3 tbs butter onto dough. mix the brown sugar and cinnamon together and take half and sprinkle onto buttered dough. roll the dough up like a cinnamon roll and cut into about 1" thickness. repeat with reserved dough. set aside and make sauce.
4for the sauce
melt your butter and add brown sugar and cinnamon, nutmeg, stir until sugar is disolved. add cream and milk. bring to a boil and set aside.
5pour a little sauce into buttered baking dishes. (just enough to cover bottom of pan) then you will lay your cut dough into the pan. you should have enough for 2 9x9 pans or one 9x18 whichever you prefer. then cover the rolls with the remaining sauce.
6Put the rolls into a preheated 350 degree oven and bake for aprox. 45 min or until flaky and golden.
serve with ice cream or fresh whipping cream.
