1Preheat oven to 180 degrees F.
2Combine salt and water in a container large enough to hold both water and apples.
3Peel, core, and slice apples into rings about 1/8" thick.
4Place apples in salt water solution for 15 minutes.
5Spread apples in one layer on large baking sheets and place in the oven for about 3-4 hours or until dry, turning occasionally.
