I'M a home grown Southern Dixie Peach. I come from a LONG LINE of devoted Southern Cooks dating as far back as the Civil War. Our family participated in many of "THE SUNDAY AFTER MEETIN' " Church Dinners and Socials. God Bless 'em --there were always many special occasion Church Dinners after Sunday Preachin'.
I treasure my old passed down Southern Recipes even though many are not healthy for our lives today. We only use many of these recipes on special occasions when are not counting calories/fat.
