How to Make Simply healthy lentil soup
- 1In lg pot, heat oil over medium heat. Saute onion and garlic in oil 3 mins. Add water, chicken broth, lentils, carrots, bay leaf, salt & pepper.
- 2Bring to a boil. Reduec heat to low. Cover and simmer 45 mins, or until lentils are tender.
- 3You can add chopped smoked ham to this while it simmers. I serve this with a crusty bread like french bread.
