Ingredients

  • 2 medium carrots, medium dice
  • 1 large rutabaga, medium dice
  • 3 medium turnips, medium dice
  • 1 small daiko, medium dice
  • 3 medium potatoes, medium dice
  • 1 medium leek, medium dice
  • 2 medium onios, medim dice
  • 3 cloves shallots, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme, leaves
  • 2 medium bay leaves, dried
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons horseradish
  • 2 quarts cold water

How To Make root cellar soup

    Peele and dice all vegetable.
  • Step 2
    Add all ingredients to a heavy pot and simer until the vegetable starting to get tender.
  • Step 3
    You can thicken with cornstarch.
