Years ago when I was heavy and was on Weight Watchers, this soup was a life saver, if you where still hunger after eating you could eat this soup and as much as you wanted as its was considered a free food on the program in those days.

Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cabbage chopped
  • 3 large onions chopped
  • 3 - celery stalks chopped
  • 2 large green peppers chopped
  • 2 cans tomatoes, canned and chopped, with liquid

How To Make peal a pound soup

  • Step 1
    Place all ingredients in a large stock pot and cover with water.
  • Step 2
    Bring to a boil and then simmer until vegetables are tender.
