Homemade pea soup

Ingredients

  • 2 c
    pea soup uncooked
  • ·
    water for soaking
  • 3 l
    broth of your choice
  • 15 ml
    non-hydrogenated margarine nuvel
  • 1 bunch
    onion, chopped
  • 1 bunch
    celery cut diagonally
  • 1 bunch
    carrot into small pieces
  • ·
    bay leaf
  • 2 ml
    ground savory
  • 60 ml
    ham into small cubes

How to Make Pea soup

Step-by-Step

  1. Put the peas into a bowl and cover with water
    Soak peas 6 to 8 hours or overnight
    Discard the soaking water
    Mix in a salad bowl the first ingredients
    Add the peas and remaining ingredients in a saucepan
    Cover and simmer about 3 hours
    Serve
