    potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2
    onions, chopped
  • 1 or 2
    carrot, peeled and sliced
  • 1
    celery stalk
  • 4
    chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 Tbsp
    parsley flakes
  • 5 c
  • 1 Tbsp
    salt (use less if you want to)
  • ·
    pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 large
    can of evaporated milk

How to Make Madeline's Potato Soup


  1. Cook vegetables in water until tender. Mash coarsely.
  2. Add rest of ingredients. Heat slowly.
  3. Do not boil after adding the milk.
