Ingredients For hot and sour soup

  • 1 tsp
    chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp
    ginger chopped
  • 1/2 c
    french beans chopped
  • 1/2 c
    carrots, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    cabbage chopped
  • 1/2 c
    mushroom slices
  • 1 tsp
    green chili paste
  • 1 tsp
    white pepper powder
  • 2 tsp
    dark soya sauce
  • 2 tsp
    red chilly sauce
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 2 tsp
    corn flour
  • 3 tsp
    chopped spring onions

How To Make hot and sour soup

  • 1
    Saute ginger and garlic till light brown. Add the chopped vegetables and saute in high flame. pour water and simmer the vegetables.

    Add red chilly sauce, dark soya sauce, vinegar, Chilli paste and mushrooms. Add salt and white pepper powder and cook for 2 minutes.

    Make a slurry with corn flour mixing with half cup water. Pour the slurry and simmer the soup till thicken. Sprinkle some chopped spring onions and remove the soup to serve hot
