Today is a rainy, cloudy day, and 30 degrees cooler than it has been. Just the kind of day ya want a nice hot mug of soup. I came up with this yummy tomato soup. I served this with cheese crackers.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Fresh and creamy, this simple homemade cream of tomato soup recipe packs tons of flavor. A bowl is comforting on a cold day alongside crackers, bread, or a grilled cheese. If you want a little more zip, add a touch of fresh basil. Heavy whipping cream can be used instead of milk if you want a creamier bowl of soup.
