Ingredients
- 4 cups chopped fresh broccoli florets
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped carrots
- 1/2 - onion, chopped
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 6 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 3 cups vegetable broth
- 2 cups milk, whole ideally
- 1 teaspoon parsley (dry) - or 1tbsp fresh
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- - shredded cheese
How To Make fresh broccoli cream soup

Step 1Boil 2 cups of water. Add broccoli, celery, and carrots. Boil 3-5 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Step 2In the same pot, saute onion in the butter until tender. Whisk in flour to form a smooth paste. Gradually add the milk and broth, whisking to combine. Bring to a boil and stir for ~1 minute.

Step 3Add the vegetables and all the rest of your ingredients. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer 20-30 minutes until vegetables are tender.

Step 4Serve with shredded cheddar cheese. Enjoy!
