I had some keibasa as a Christmas gift from Omaha steaks so I made this recipe. It turned out very creamy, not brothy.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag(s)
    frozen vegetables
  • 32 oz
    organic chicken broth
  • 1 pkg
    french onion soup mix
  • 1 can(s)
    stewed tomatoes 28 oz.
  • 2 tsp
    salt, kosher type
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    greek oregano
  • 1/2 lb
    kielbasa links, sliced thin in chunks
  • 1 1/3 c
    arborio rice

How to Make Diana's Sausage Vegetable Soup

Step-by-Step

  1. Defrost vegetables in microwave.
  2. Place all ingredients into a slow cooker.
  3. Cook on high for 2 hrs. Turn down heat to low and cook for another 6 hrs.
    Add a cup of water into pot one hour before serving if you don't like a thicker soup.
