Cabbage Soup

I was feeling terrible one day and decided soup was the answer. I created this by combining a soup my friend used to make with some of my own ingredients. It is healthy, simple, tasty, and filling.

  • 1 lb
    ground turkey
  • 1 lb
    sweet italian sausage
  • 1
    head of cabbage
  • 1 large
  • 1 large
    can of pureed tomatoes
  • 2 clove
    chopped garlic
  • 1/2 tsp

How to Make Cabbage Soup


  1. In a large pot, cook the meat, onion, and cabbage together until the meat is cooked through.
  2. Add garlic, salt, and tomatoes.
  3. Cook on low for 30-40 minutes or until the cabbage is soft.
  4. Serve with fresh grated Parmesan cheese and toasted bread.
