Ingredients
- 2 slices bacon or turkey bacon, diced
- 1 cup onion or red onion,chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic,minced
- 1 pound can sauerkraut,drained
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 6 cups hot water
- 6 - cubes chicken cubes
- 2 cups carrots, slices
- 3 cups potatoes or red potatoes, cubes
- 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 pound kielbasa
- - snipped parsely or dried
- 6 cans chicken broth (if you dont want use hot water)
How To Make sauerkraut kielbasa soup

Step 1Fry bacon in large Kettle or Dutch oven medium in heat until browned. Sauté onion and garlic in same Kettle or Dutch oven for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 2Stir sauerkraut, paprika, water or broth, bouillon cubes, carrots, potatoes, caraway seeds and pepper.

Step 3Bring to boiling, reduce heat and simmer, cover 30 minutes. Add Kielbasa simmer, cover 30 minutes.

Step 4Remove the Kielbasa cool slightly. Cut Kielbasa, in half then into 1/2 inch slices. Return the soup, heat through. Garnish with parsley.

Step 5I would put more potatoes in the soup if you have big eater.
