This is a very healthy soup. Great for the winter.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey sausage
  • 1 - chopped onion
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic in olive oil
  • 2 - 14 oz cans lower-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 - 14 oz cans italian-style stewed tomatoes
  • 2 cups fresh baby spinach leaves

How To Make easy healthy winter soup

  • Step 1
    Spray a lg skillet w/ olive oil cooking spary. Place skillet over medium heat. Cook sausage, onion and garlic till fully cooked.
  • Step 2
    Add mix to a 6-quart slow-cooker. Add remaining ingredients, except spinach. Cover, cook on high for 2 hrs. Add spinach and cook until spinach is wilted.
