tomatoes, diced
1 1/2 can(s)
pinto beans (rinsed)
1 c
salsa, chunky
green bell pepper diced
yellow bell pepper diced
1 lb
ground turkey
1 Tbsp
chili powder
2 tsp
2 c
water (or enough to cover)
2 clove
garlic, minced or finely chopped

How to Make Crockpot Turkey Stew


  • 1Thaw out Turkey meat ahead of time, or defrost it.
  • 2Put tomatoes, pinto beans, salsa, chili powder, cumin, bell peppers, and garlic into crock pot. ( you can add any other ingredients that you would like to have into crockpot as well)
  • 3Brown Turkey meat, drain off fat, and then add to the crockpot. Stir gently
  • 4Set on low for 4 or more hours or high for 2 hours.
  • 5When done, fill the bowls.. Garnish with scallions (optional), cut up onions, and cheese.
