I love this recipe... It always comes out hearty and it's not that bad in calories.... did i mention my picky eater of a husband LOVES it

Ingredients
- 2 - tomatoes, diced
- 1 1/2 cans pinto beans (rinsed)
- 1 cup salsa, chunky
- 1 - green bell pepper diced
- 1 - yellow bell pepper diced
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 2 cups water (or enough to cover)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced or finely chopped
How To Make crockpot turkey stew

Step 1Thaw out Turkey meat ahead of time, or defrost it.

Step 2Put tomatoes, pinto beans, salsa, chili powder, cumin, bell peppers, and garlic into crock pot. ( you can add any other ingredients that you would like to have into crockpot as well)

Step 3Brown Turkey meat, drain off fat, and then add to the crockpot. Stir gently

Step 4Set on low for 4 or more hours or high for 2 hours.

Step 5When done, fill the bowls.. Garnish with scallions (optional), cut up onions, and cheese. Enjoy
