Ingredients

  • 2
    tomatoes, diced
  • 1 1/2 can(s)
    pinto beans (rinsed)
  • 1 c
    salsa, chunky
  • 1
    green bell pepper diced
  • 1
    yellow bell pepper diced
  • 1 lb
    ground turkey
  • 1 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 2 tsp
    cumin
  • 2 c
    water (or enough to cover)
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced or finely chopped

How to Make Crockpot Turkey Stew

Step-by-Step

  1. Thaw out Turkey meat ahead of time, or defrost it.
  2. Put tomatoes, pinto beans, salsa, chili powder, cumin, bell peppers, and garlic into crock pot. ( you can add any other ingredients that you would like to have into crockpot as well)
  3. Brown Turkey meat, drain off fat, and then add to the crockpot. Stir gently
  4. Set on low for 4 or more hours or high for 2 hours.
  5. When done, fill the bowls.. Garnish with scallions (optional), cut up onions, and cheese.
