How to Make Tomato Basil Soup
- Peel, core and chop tomatoes.
- Combine tomatoes and juice in a large saucepan. Simmer 30 minutes.
- In a blender, puree tomatoes along with basil leaves in small batches.
- Return to saucepan. Add milk, butter, salt and pepper while stirring over low heat, Cook 5 minutes,
- Garnish with basil leaves.
Serve with your favorite bread.
