1Brown ground turkey, drain fat, add the turkey to crock pot. Add all of the chopped vegetables and seasonings. Add the can of tomatoes. I do make a roux for this soup, but you can add or leave it out. I left it out, due to some folks don't like it.
2Add at least 4 cups of water, let cook on high for at least 6 hours. I serve this with either cornbread or crackers. Enjoy!
