Ingredients

  • 1 can campbell's mushroom and garlic soup
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 cans water (after you use chicken broth, fill with water)
  • 1 box whole white mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1 - large onion chopped
  • 1 clove garlic (chopped small)
  • 1/2 bag frozen sweet green peas
  • 2 - large carrots (peeled & chopped small)
  • 2 pinches both salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can chick peas
  • 3 - bay leaves, dried
  • 1 - small bunch of fresh basil chopped finely
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 dashes red cayenne pepper
  • 1 - large zucchini ( sliced and halved)

How To Make hearty & spicy mushroom and garlic soup

  • Step 1
    In a large pot melt butter, lightly browning garlic and onion
  • Step 2
    Add carrots, mushrooms, green peas, zucchini and chick peas along with salt, pepper, cayenne pepper and basil, mix.
  • Step 3
    Add broth, along with water and bay leaves, drop heat to simmer for 25 minutes and enjoy :)
