This is a nice meal to have on a cold day!

Ingredients

  • 3 boxes turkey broth
  • 2 teaspoons fresh sage
  • 2 - large carrots
  • 3 - leeks
  • 2 - 14oz can of diced tomatoes or 2 large fresh tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon fresh garlic chopped
  • 1 - rotisserie turkey breast from shoprite cooked
  • 2 cups frozen mixed veg
  • 1 1/2 cups ditalini pasta

How To Make turkey soup

  • Step 1
    Remove meat from bone and chop! Put aside. Put bone in the pot.
  • Step 2
    get your veg ready. Clean Leeks cut a little off the bottom and chop use all of it. let sit in water so sand will run off. Then rinse Leeks real good.
  • Step 3
    Chop Garlic, Sage
  • Step 4
    Put broth and bones, diced tomatoes, Leeks in pot cook for 30min. Then add the rest of the ingredients except pasta. Cook for additional 15min
  • Step 5
    Remove bone and peel meat off and chop and add to the soup. Add pasta cook for additional 4min. Turn off and set aside pasta will continue to cook. When ready serve. Enjoy!!
