Ingredients For spinach dumplings

  • 1 1/2 c
    chopped spinach, cooked
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1
    egg, well beaten
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1
    onion slice

How To Make spinach dumplings

  • 1
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add egg and milk. Roll into thin dough. Cut into 3 or 4 inch squares. Place 1 tablespoon well-seasoned spinach. Fold dough over and pinch edges. Drop dumplings into boiling water and add slice of onion. Cook, covered, for 15 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
