The family was out to eat, we had this kind of soup - I knew I could make a recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound any kind of sausage (your preferrence) cooked
  • 1 package frozen or canned artichokes
  • 1/2 cup chopped carrots
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped onion
  • 1 can cannelini beans (or your favorite)
  • 1 quart chicken broth (or your favorite)
  • 1 can 28 oz. crushed red tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil or 1 tablespoon dried
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper or to taste

How To Make jojo's sausage artichoke soup

  • Step 1
    In large stockpot brown sausage.
  • Step 2
    Remove sausage add, carrots, celery and onions cook till soft.
  • Step 3
    Add remaining ingredients bring to a boil then simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Step 4
    OR you can add all ingredients into a crock pot for a later meal. Cook on Low 2 hours. (cooked ingredients) Cook on High 2 hours, (uncooked veggies)
