This winter has been very brutal with the wind/cold & snow. This soup is one of my favorites for weather like this. Its very warming.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds 95% lean ground beef or turkey
- 1 - large onion peeled and chopped
- 4 - celery stalks chopped
- 4 - carrots, chopped
- 4 - potatoes, russets chopped
- 1 - large cabbage head
- 1 - large jar of v8 juice or vegtable juice
- 4 - large tomatoes blanced, peeled & chopped
- 1 - can chicken broth
- 1 - can kidney beans
- 2 - can whole kernal corn
How To Make hamburger cabbage soup

Step 1Brown meat with the onions and celery. Drain

Step 2Cook cabbage in broth and water until soft enough to chop up. Chop up and add to crockpot including the broth. ** Do not throw out the broth water from cabbage. This makes the base.

Step 3Add meat mixture and all the chopped veggies.

Step 4Add the v8 juice, corn, tomatoes & kidney beans.

Step 5Add salt/pepper to taste. stir well

Step 6Cook on low for 8hrs or high 4 to 6hrs
