  • 1 lb
    potatoes, scrubbed clean and cubed, i used red potatoes
  • 2-1/2 c
    chicken broth
  • 3
    celery stalks, chopped
  • 8
    green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1-1/2 c
    fat free milk
  • 1/4 c
  • 1/2 c
    fat-free evaporated milk
  • 1-1/2 lb
    medium shrimp, peeled, deveined
  • 1/2 tsp
    white pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce

How to Make Creamy shrimp chowder


  1. Place broth in lg pot. Add potatoes, celery, onions and red bell pepper. Bring to boil. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer 15 mins.
  2. Stir in fat-free milk, gently mesh veggies w/ potato masher. In bowl, combine flour and evaporated milke w/ whisk. Add to chowder.
  3. Bring to a boil. Cook, stirring until thickened. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to boil. Cook, stirring until shrimp turns pink, about 3 mins.
