chicken breast w/ skin
7 c
chicken stock (2-32 cartons)
1/2 tsp
each, salt & pepper
3-4 clove
garlic, minced
1/2- 1 tsp
each, gr. thyme & sage
1 tsp
onion powder
2 c
each, diced carrot & celery
1 pkg
12oz egg noodles (amish)

How to Make Momma's Chicken Noodle Soup


  • 1Place chicken, 1 cup of stock in pressure-cooker, sprinkle seasonings over chicken. Cook for 45-1 hour.
  • 2Meanwhile, in a stock pot, add veggies to rest of chicken stock. Cover and simmer until veggies are tender.
  • 3When chicken is done, let it cool then coarsely shred and add to stock pot. Also add extra stock from pressure cooker.
  • 4Add noodles and cook for 15—20 minutes or until tender.
