One of my husbands favorite soups,very comforting and hearty. I usually always have it in the freezer.

- 1 bag navy beans
- 1 - pork hock
- 2 - bay leaf
- 3 - garlic cloves (crushed)
- 1 medium onion (chopped)
- 1 - carrot (chopped)
- 4-5 slices bacon, cooked (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
- 3 dashes worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups chicken broth
- - ham diced (optional)
How To Make white bean and smoked ham soup

Step 1Rinse,beans,and boil for 10 min. Then drain, set aside.

Step 2I a large pot cook bacon ,drain all but a small amount of fat,then soften, onion , and carrots. Add all other ingredients, and simmer for 4- 5 hrs.
