2 c
figs
2 c
dates
1/2 c
almonds
2 Tbsp
orange juice
thinly slice oatmeal bread, buttered

How to Make Vintage Date and Fig Sandwiches

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a food processor, combine all the ingredients, save the bread. Blend well.
  • 2Take a small loaf pan line with wax paper, with excess sticking out the side. Spray with non-stick olive oil spray.
  • 3Put mixture into pan. Press firmly into the pan to make a condense loaf.
  • 4Refrigerate for 2-4 hours.
  • 5Pull out of pan by the excess wax paper.
  • 6Slice and serve between two slices of buttered bread.
