Very easy to make. Keeps well in the refrigerator, but does not freeze well.

chopped garlic
1/2 small
onion, chopped
2 Tbsp
vegetable oil
1 large
can chicken broth (3 lbs. 1.5 ozs.)
1 small
package of chopped frozen spinach
2 Tbsp
dried basil
1 pkg
three cheese tortellini
1/2 can(s)
parmesan cheese

How to Make Tortellini Soup


  • 1Cook garlic and onion in oil until translucent.
  • 2Add chicken broth, tomatoes, spinach and basil. Cook until spinach is tender.
  • 3Shut off heat and add tortellini.
  • 4Keep pot on burner until tortellini is done.
  • 5Add parmesan cheese
