  • 2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 large
  • 2 can(s)
    tomatoes, petite diced with liquid
  • 2 can(s)
    rotel tomatoes and green chilies, mild
  • 2 can(s)
  • 2 can(s)
    pinto beans, with liquid
  • 2 pkg
    lawry's taco seasoning
  • 2 pkg
    ranch dressing dry mix

How to Make Taco Soup


  1. Brown ground beef and the chopped onion. Drain and place in large pot or Dutch oven.
  2. Add all listed ingredients.
  3. Add a little water and cook slowly for at least 30 minutes. Longer is better.
  4. Top with grated cheddar cheese and chopped green onions, if desired.
    Good with cornbread or tortilla chips.
