spam & cabbage
This is a quick, easy & favorite local dish just about every body makes here in Hawaii. I make it about once a week. My family loves it on fresh cooked rice... I have kind of wonder how much calories & so forth are in my recipes. Now taht am on a diet. Am adding them up. So Am gonna add in the calorie count on all that I can.

Ingredients
- 1 - cabbage, shredded
- 2 cans spam, cubed
- 1/3 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 1 - bay leaf
- dash soy sauce
How To Make spam & cabbage

Step 1Clean & shred the cabbage.

Step 2Put in a large pot with enough water to cover all the cabbage.

Step 3Season with salt, pepper, bay leaf & soy sauce.

Step 4Boil until cabbage is almost tender.

Step 5Add in the spam & cook for about 10 mins more.
