This easy and flavorful split pea soup has been a favorite for years with my family. Even the little kids like it! It freezes beautifully. It may seperate on standing or refridgerating, but just give a good stir and will come right back together.

Step-by-Step

  • 1Combine all ingredients in a 4-6 quart crockpot/slow cooker.
  • 2Cover and cook on low 8 hours
  • 3Puree' to desired smoothness in batches in blender or use an imersion wand to blend to taste.
