Ingredients

  • 5-6 medium potatoes
  • 1 large onion
  • 1/4 liter milk
  • 1 liter water
  • 30 grams butter
  • gram salt,pepper,curry or chili as desired
  • slice old bread slices

How To Make potato soup

  • Step 1
    Cut the onion into small pieces and steam it in a little butter until glassy.
  • Step 2
    Add the peeled and diced potatoes and fill up with water and milk.
  • Step 3
    Cook for about 15 minutes until soft, while cutting the bread into cubes and roasting in butter until crispy.
  • Step 4
    Season to taste with salt and spices, then add the bread cubes. Experiment with sunflower seeds or sesame seeds roasted briefly and dry in a pan. This goes very well with cream soups.
