This is a recipe for a soup to up your potassium level. We need around 5000 mg a day and a banana only has around 400. Keeping your potassium up can make all the difference in how you feel.

Ingredients

  • 1 - potato, cubed
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 1 - carrot, diced
  • 1 - parsnip, diced
  • 1 - rib celery, diced
  • 1 - clove garlic
  • 2 pounds beef ribs
  • - olive oil
  • - grass fed butter
  • - beef stock, unsalted
  • - sea salt
  • 4 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 can white beans, no sodium kind
  • - options- sweet potato instead of white, add dried apricots, add acorn squash
  • - alternative - use chicken on the bone and chicken stock instead of beef

How To Make potassium rich soup

  • Step 1
    Soften in real butter and olive oil.
  • Step 2
    Add stock with herbs of choice and Celtic salt.
  • Step 3
    Boil then simmer ( max 2 hours for those who are concerned re glutamine)
  • Step 4
    Near the end add the more delicate green vegetables.
  • Step 5
    Remove the bones. Chop meat from the bones and add to the broth.
