My Mom and MIL love split pea soup and every time my mom bakes a ham she sends the bone home with me so I will make split pea soup and send the soup back home with them.

Ingredients
- 1 cup baby carrots
- 1 cup white onion, diced
- 3 small potatoes, diced
- 1 - ham bone
- 2 cups green split peas, washed
- 1 - bay leaf
- 1 tablespoon celery flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon marjoram
- 1 teaspoon lemon tyme
- 8 cups water
- 8 - chicken bouillon cubes
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon lemon garlic
How To Make pea soup

Step 1Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cover. Cook on low 8-10 hours or overnight. Or on high 6 hours, until peas are tender. Remove bay leaf and ham bone and serve or freeze in individual freezer containers.
