pasta fazool my creation

I had pasta fazool at a restraunt once,i loved it so much,i just had to make it as i remember it tasting. So this is what i came up with,hope you enjoy as much as i did.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil, extra virgin
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 small sweet onion
- 3 small celery ribs
- 2 cans cannellini beans
- 1 quart tomato's i used fresh home canned
- DO NOT DRAIN
- 1 tablespoon oregano, dried rubbed between hands
- 1 teaspoon raw sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 cups beef broth low sodium
- 1/2 cup reserved pasta water
- 1/2 cup pasta sauce i used garlic and onion
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1/4 pound ditalini pasta
- I USED WHITE PASTA
How To Make pasta fazool my creation

Step 1In cold saute pan place olive oil and garlic on medium heat,til garlic is lightly browned,remove from pan and save.

Step 2saute onion and celery til onions are translucent

Step 3Add to oil beans,tomato's,seasonings,sauce,sugar,beef broth and chop reserved garlic and place in pan if desired.

Step 4Cook pasta til just before aldente. drain and place into beans along with reserved pasta water

Step 5Add parmesan cheese and simmer til pasta is tender.
