Ingredients

  • 5 c
    chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp
    tomato paste
  • 2 clove
    garlic,minced
  • 1/2 tsp
    red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 c
    uncooked mini pasta shells
  • 1/2 bag(s)
    fresh spinach leaves
  • 1/4 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  • ·
    for the meatballs:
  • 1 lb
    italian sausage,casings removed
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1/2 c
    dried bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried basil
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic salt and black pepper

How to Make Italian Meatball Soup (Crock Pot)

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine broth,tomato paste,garlic and red pepper flakes in crock pot.
  2. Combine all meatball ingredients and form into small balls.Add meatballs to soup mixture.Cover and cook on high 3 hours.
  3. Add pasta,and cook 30 minutes more.Add spinach just before serving.Ladle into bowls,sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
