My son loves this soup. I have tried adding eggs and bit of chicken too and it tastes good.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter, cold
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 cup onion
  • 1/4 cup carrots, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green beans
  • 1/4 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/4 can mushrooms, fresh
  • 1/4 cup peas, cooked
  • 2 tablespoons parsley
  • 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk, 2%
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper powder
  • - salt to taste

How To Make healthy veggie soup

  • Step 1
    Heat butter in a deep sauce pan on medium heat.
  • Step 2
    Add minced garlic and cook for 30 secs.
  • Step 3
    Add onions and saute for 30 secs.
  • Step 4
    Add all the veggies finely chopped and saute on a slow flame for 3-4 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Add salt and pepper and stir.
  • Step 6
    Add flour and stir for a minute so it cooks.
  • Step 7
    Add water and milk and stir well.
  • Step 8
    Cook for a minute or untill warm and its ready to serve.
