This soup is an excellent, low calorie addition to any Asian themed meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (32 oz.) chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup dry sherry
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 6 ounces sliced mushrooms
  • a small handful of snow peas, strings removed
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 6 - green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 large carrot julienned
  • 1 bag (8-12 oz.) cooked salad shrimp

How To Make asian style shrimp soup

  • Step 1
    Bring broth to a simmer in pot. Stir in sherry and soy sauce. Simmer 5 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Add julienned carrots, lemon juice, shrimp, mushrooms and continue to cook and simmer 5 minutes longer or until shrimp is thawed and warmed.
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle with sliced green onions
