Ingredients

1 can(s)rotel tomatoes, mild or original
-
1 can(s)corn kernels, drained

1 can(s)navy beans, drained

4 cchicken broth, low salt
-
1 dash(es)each of onion salt, garlic salt, and pepper
-
1/4 tspground cumin
-
1/2 tsporegano, dried
-
1/2 tspchili powder (hot or mild, your choice)

·tortilla chips
-
·shredded cheddar cheese or mexican blend
-
optionaldiced avocado
-
optionaldiced chicken, left over or from the deli, i often do it without the chicken
How to Make 5 Minute Tortilla Soup
- Place the tomatoes, corn, beans and broth in a pan. Add the spices. Bring to a boil and cook for a couple of minutes.
- If you are using cooked chicken add it now and bring back to a boil.
- Place some crushed tortilla chips, shredded cheese and avocados (if using them)in the bottom of each bowl.
- Ladle hot soup into the bowls and enjoy!
