This is a simple and quick recipe to throw together and using a crockpot cuts down on heat and clean up. I used Swai filets, but any mild fish, shrimp, crab or krab, or any combination would work. I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we do!

Ingredients

  • 6 medium fish filets, your choice
  • 2 packages frozen vegetables, i prefer stir fry blends
  • 3-4 potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, quartered and sliced
  • garlic powder, ground pepper, and old bay seasoning, to taste
  • 1 can family sized can of cream soup

How To Make simply devine slow-cooker fish stew

  • Step 1
Spray a crockpot with non-stick spray and set on low.
  • Step 2
Layer sliced onion, diced potatoes, frozen vegetables, and fish, seasoning in between the layers. Make sure the fish is on top.
  • Step 3
Cover and cook 4-6 hrs. About 1/2 hour before serving, top with a family sized can of cream soup. I used cream of chicken, but celery or mushroom works just as well. You can leave the filets whole or break them into chunks and stir together before serving. You can serve you stew just so or over rice.
