This easy to prepare Crab Bisque recipe is from my cookbook SHARING OUR FAVORITE RECIPES. It is quick and easy & quite tasty for all you crab lovers out there, with little time to prepare a traditional recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 can 10 1/2 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can 10 1/2 oz. can cream of asparagus soup
  • 1 1/2 cans soup cans of milk
  • 1 cup light cream
  • 1 can 6 1/2 can crab meat, drained & flaked ( more if desired)
  • 1/4 cup cooking sherry
  • 4 tablespoons butter, divided

How To Make crab bisque made the easy way

  • Step 1
    In a large sauce pan over medium heat, combine cream of mushroom soup & asparagus soup. Stir in milk & light cream. Heat just until boiling. Add crab meat & continue to heat. Stir in cooking sherry just before serving. Pour into individual bowls and float a pat of butter on top of each serving while still hot. Garnish with chopped parsley or chopped chives. Makes 6-8 servings depending on appetite.
