This recipe I made one fine day when I wanted to make something very simple, yet very tasty...and boy was it.

Ingredients
- 16 ounces tilapia or mahi-mahi
- 2 large potatoes,diced
- 2 large carrot, sliced
- 1 cup onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup cilantro
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 liters water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
How To Make comfort fish soup

Step 1in a large pot, saute the onions in olive oil, add garlic, diced potatoes and sliced carrots.

Step 2add 2 liters of water, bring to a gentle boil about 20 mins.. till potatoes & carrots are fork tender

Step 3meanwhile cut your fish into nice big chunks, place into pot, simmer for another 20mins... add the oregano and cilantro, salt & pepper to taste....
