My friend makes this as a alternative for potatoes..I was a skeptic..but this is the best..haha..hubs dont"t know he is getting veggies...lol

Ingredients
- 1 - cauliflower..chopped
- 1 pound bacon
- 1 large onion
- 2 cans chopped clams
- 3 - celery stalks
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 pint half and half
- 2 teaspoons old bay seasoning
- - salt and pepper to taste
- OPTIONAL
- 1/2 cup instant mashed potatoes
How To Make cauliclam chowder

Step 1chop bacon and brown until semi crisp..add chopped onion and celery and brown..set aside

Step 2chop cauliflower..put in dutch oven or large pan..add chicken broth and cook until cauliflower is tender..

Step 3combine the bacon and onion celery mix..add cream..simmer on low for 15 minutes..add a half cup of potatoe flakes if you want to thicken it..stir and serve ..
