Ingredients
- 1 package ham hocks
- 5 pounds potato pelled,diced
- 1 large onion chopped
- 2 stalks celery chopped
- 1/2 pound butter
- 1/2 quart water
- 1/2 quart milk
How To Make potatoe soup

Step 1In a large pot place ham hock add water bring to a boil, turn heat down and simmer for and hour.

Step 2Pull ham hock out,add potatoes,onions,celery,butter.Simmer untl everything is tender While that is simmering take what little meat is on the ham hock off the bone. place in the same pot

Step 3When everything is tender turn heat down to low add milk, to thicken add Hungary Jack potatoes.You can also add cooked bacon chopped up, and cheese.
