This recipe has been in our family for many years. We like to serve it with grilled cheese sandwiches. If you need meat in it, add some bacon bits to the soup and ham to the grilled cheese sandwiches.

Ingredients
- 6 medium potatos
- 1 medium onion
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 2 quarts boiling water
How To Make potato soup

Step 1Peel potatoes and cut them into bite size pieces. Peel and cut the onion to the same size pieces. put the onions and Potatoes in a large pan and boil them in water until tender.

Step 2Drain water, saving 2 cups of water to use in the soup. Add the remaining ingredients, salt and pepper to taste. Then bring to a slight boil, stir and remove from heat and serve.
