Everybody loves Cream of Broccoli Soup!

Ingredients

  • 2 lg bunches fresh broccoli
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup half and half
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • - salt & pepper to taste

How To Make cheryl's cream of broccoli soup

  • Step 1
    Cook the broccoli in the chicken broth. Keeping the broth, drain broccoli into a blender and put some of the broth in the blender and blend. After blended, add butter. Take the cream and flour and make a paste to thicken the rest of the broth. Pour the blended broccoli into the paste a little at a time. And add salt and pepper and a dash of nutmeg. This can be frozen if you have leftovers.
