milk

boiling water

onion, sliced

bay leaf
2 Tbsp
flour
1/2 c
grated cheese

egg, well beaten
1 tsp
salt
1 Tbsp
butter
1 dash(es)
cayenne

How to Make Cheese Soup

Step-by-Step

  • 1Scald milk, water, onion and bay leaf; 20 minutes. Skim out onion and bay leaf. Thicken milk with butter and flour cooked together. Add cheese, egg and seasonings; stir until cheese melts.
