Broccoli Cheddar Soup
1/4 conion, chopped
1/4 call purpose flour
1/4 tspfresh cracked black pepper(add more if you like) the more pepper the better the soup =)
3/4 cchicken broth
1 1/2 cevaporated milk
1 cbroccoli, chopped
1 ccheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cpepper jack, shredded
How to Make Broccoli Cheddar Soup
- In a saucepan, saute the onion in butter until tender; Stir in flour, salt and pepper; cook and stir until smooth and bubbly.
- Add broth and milk all at once; cook and stir until the mixture boils and thickens.
- Add broccoli; Simmer, stirring constantly, until heated through.
- Remove from the heat and stir in cheese until melted.
